Nigerian Afrobeats singer Mr. Eazi paid homage to the city that first embraced him (London) by putting it on lock down as he hosted the first ever Life Is Eazi Culture Festival at the Roundhouse on Saturday September 23 2017.
This immersive, festival-inspired one day exposé was designed to draw back the curtain on the lifestyle and culture which brought forth Afrobeats – the rapidly evolving hybrid sound created and popularized by young music fans whose heritage traverse Africa and the UK.
Other performers on the night included Ghanaian high life singer Bisa K.Dei, Deborah Vanessa and a few others.
With just a mixtape to his credit, it is indeed a great plausible to applaud Mr. Eazi for the feat he has acheieved.
